Subject: Re: IAAI interstate fraud complaint https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/

I hate to bother you fellows and I'm sure you really hate hearing from angry customers but I have done business on and off with IAAI in California fro many years and many wrecked cars.
The problem is occasionally a customer of mine needs a car that is at your auction so every year or so I renew my account. Of course I would renew every year if your local management and representatives didn't treat customers as cattle and if we were doing something wrong just trying to conduct business (we have been in business in California for 50 years.)

I (tried) renewed my account last month and changed our owners name to reflect that the owners have now changed from father to son. One month ago my credit my credit card was charged, I did all of the transaction online and fax by your website's suggestion. I have done three follow up phone calls (leaving messages- the clerks were busy with other customers). As of today I have no return phone call, no email, nor any fax all of which were used to contact your company.

This is typical of the treatment of an IAAI customer- yes I have dealt with several different california locations and your main enrollment center back east.

It is my hope that one of you will respond to this and help me remedy this matter promptly.

Rather than place more calls wasting my time only to find your personel respond with "you forgot to, you didn't, YOU failed to..." (ALWAYS the customer's fault at IAAI )
I've been that route with IAAI several times before. This time I will spend my time pursuing the complaint systems in place with internet fraud department (the transaction was done over the website) as well as live bidding/prebidding over the internet.

This is not the first awful experience a customer has had with your holding- I have a few really funny stories about your employees. (well funny after I've forced a regional manager to get involved and relent on that IAAI "customer wrong" policy)

PS I would have just emailed the IAAI higher ups but they don't publish their emails in the trades.

Thanks for you time and hopefully you can save some for all of us.

PS I would be remiss in my complaining if I did not mention that Dot Sharp- who I have CC'd at Anaheim- really should be put to the front of the line for evaluation (good or bad) she has helped immensely in deciding to take this action.

Your response is anticipated.
